It is hard to fathom all the time, money and other resources we have used so far in the war on terror and especially on the war in Iraq.  What has it gotten us?  The tragic loss of American and Iraqi’s alike,  a breeding ground for more “terrorists”, and an unhappy American population.   The reason why I bring this up is to draw a comparison to the “war on drugs.”  Something that Nixon started many decades ago.  Why aren’t we talking about ending this war?
