A lot has been happening on the medical marijuana front. New Mexico’s governor and 08′ Presidential hopeful, Bill Richardson is fully supporting his states medical marijuana Bill. He states: “I don’t see it as being a big issue. This is for medicinal purpose, for … people that are suffering. My God, let’s be reasonable.”

Now you have Minnesota’s legislation overcoming a major hurdle. The important House public safety committee was heavily attended by vocal law enforcement and still passed. Sorry guys, but people are tired of seeing suffering. One of the ways Minnesota is compromising to get this passed is to have only sanctioned nonprofit organizations grow up to 12 plants and 2.5 ounces per patient. It is all about balance.

It is really nice to see something that sarted with Prop. 215 in California and has blossomed into 11 sates and still growing. Pun intended.
